My photography journey started in the late 70's with my big OE using my Dad's Kodak Instamatic Film camera. I graduated to a 35mm Minolta film camera and taught myself photography.
Back in NZ I became awed by our own beautiful landscape. I moved to Hawkes Bay in 1991 and started to photograph again as the landscape and nature inspired my soul and creative spirit.
My photography shifted from taking the big vista to being an 'Artist with a camera' using fresh ways to see the landscape through artistic eyes, using Natures colours, light, shadow, shapes and mood like an artists pallet. This small collection of photos emphasizes my Theme of 'ART in the Landscape' using natures magic to bring a different and artistic feel to the photo I am taking.
