Ever since I was a kid, I've loved exploring the outdoors and would always take the family point-and-shoot camera on holidays to photograph wildlife and landscapes. Photography was always there in the background, but everything changed in 2019 when I borrowed my brother's Canon 700D for a school project and photographed a LEGO minifigure on my driveway. That one photo completely hooked me.
I loved the idea of taking something as small and familiar as a LEGO figure and making it look like it belonged in the real world. Since then, I've spent countless hours hiking through forests, climbing mountains, exploring beaches and rivers, always with a few LEGO minifigures in my backpack. New Zealand's landscapes have and will always be my biggest inspiration, and I enjoy using them as the backdrop to tell cinematic stories through photography and of course, also being out in nature!
