A beginner’s guide, we will cover proven tips and ideas and budget for anyone thinking about getting into photography, or wanting to move up. We will discuss low cost entry and practical ways to move up as your budget interest and skill develops.
This presentation will cover a range of topics based around landscape, wildlife and travel photography, skill level and techniques including gear to use to get the best outcomes. ( Cameras versus mobile device)
Both highly competent photographers, Brian and Hans will share their wealth of knowledge providing tips and advice for beginners starting out through to serious hobbyists.

I am Brian Scantlebury, a photographer based in Tauranga. I will be exhibiting a selection of black and white landscape images. Travel & scenery and wildlife form most of my portfolio with New Zealand imagery being of special interest. Holding an interest in both wildlife and photography since childhood has led me along a lifelong path of pursuing and developing my knowledge of both throughout my life.
