What is your favourite time of day or location to shoot?
I love shooting whenever I can. love the outdoors and nature

Phone or SLR  ? preference/ reason why for you
Canon DSLR, Traditional and solid its all part of the process for me

One tip that is always your go to when shooting
look for any distracting elements in your frame/background and try to minimize these

Do you have any photographers you follow or admire that inspire you ?
I follow a few locals like Richard Wood, and a few from Youtube and Instagram like North Boarders (Melbourne AU) and James Popsys (Wales)

Tell us about one of your images. How and where you shot it, time of day, anything that inspired you to get this shot. Is there a story you could share ?
One of my fav is my shot of a Tui in a tree at Cornwall park this was shot in spring just after the last lock down. The Tui were all over the place zipping and diving from one Kowhai to another and back again. I park up in a bush shooting across the creek near the Chinese Garden with Tui flying all around me. after 15-20 min of getting nothing but blurry or poorly lit shots, I get up out of the bush and turn around to see this tui just singing his song just 2 meters in front of me. right place right time. I shoot him and his friend for a few moments before they move on. Everything was sharp and balanced I got my shot. score.

What do you enjoy most about taking photographs?
I guess its capturing that moment in time to enjoy later on. Ive always been one to watch everything going on around me and trying to find that moment in every part of my day.
